Tiling Systems and Efflorescence at External Walls of Buildings: Common Causes of Failure and Methods of Repair, the seminar was organized by Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (the HKIE) – Building Division.
The seminar was a free Introduction to external wall common failures. The instructors shared their amazing experiences of the common causes of tile detachment and efflorescence at the external walls. Other topics covered in the seminar included different types of tile adhesive and tile system, compatibility between materials, failure analysis and remedial methods.
